La pratique transdisciplinaire de Vanessa Enríquez explore le dessin comme un processus contemplatif et d’investigation permettant de développer une conscience métaphysique. Elle étend la ligne au-delà des matériaux et des surfaces traditionnels, dans l’espace et le son, créant des œuvres allant de dessins spatiaux monumentaux à des partitions et performances plus intimes. Utilisant la bande magnétique VHS à la fois comme outil de dessin et comme médium d’écoute, Enríquez travaille entre précision géométrique et improvisation, répétition et hasard. La ligne devient à la fois un fil physique et conceptuel, reliant différentes dimensions, échelles et formes de perception. Son travail explore la possibilité du dessin comme moyen de tracer des relations au sein d’une réalité interconnectée, où les structures présentes dans la géométrie, la nature, le corps et le cosmos peuvent entrer en résonance les unes avec les autres.
