Galerie WAGNER intends to return to Art Paris (7 editions from 2016 to 2022) with a solo show by Claudia Lavegas, an artist of international stature who addresses the question of origins through the prism of organic and kinetic geometry. The gallery chose this artist to respond to one of the themes proposed by Art Paris 2025: Out of limits.

A trained architect and worthy heir of Anni Albers, the artist draws inspiration from the traditions of the Amazonian Indians (architecture, weaving, landscapes, etc.) to construct a work that is as kinetic as it is organic. Far from proposing a strict mathematical geometry, this accomplished multidisciplinary artist invents a way that is as intuitive as it is thoughtful to approach the question of origins, roots, and links between Nature and human beings. His work must be understood as an architectural, environmental and spiritual manifesto.

With this artist, the gallery also wishes to reaffirm its artistic line – concrete, constructed, kinetic art linked to science, even spirituality -, while promoting a female artist who explores the geography and ancestral rites of her native land under a new form of kineticism…

The Gallery will present a series of recent works by the artist. This solo show follows the solo exhibition that the gallery dedicated to him in March 2024.
