Position
Galerie Wagner — Paris / Le Touquet-Pais-Plage A contemporary art gallery dedicated to dialogues between abstraction, perception, science, and thought.
Founded in Le Touquet in 2004 and based in Paris since 2019, Galerie Wagner develops a program dedicated to contemporary art and forms of abstraction.
With a history rooted in Concrete, Constructivist, and Kinetic art, the gallery champions both historical and contemporary artists whose work explores perception, space, light, movement, and materiality. It takes a particular interest in practices situated at the intersection of art, science, mathematics, and architecture—where thought itself becomes a creative medium. Its programming brings together diverse generations and sensibilities, fostering a dialogue between historical figures of abstraction and contemporary artists engaged in new forms of inquiry.
Through exhibitions, art fair participation, and institutional collaborations, Galerie Wagner seeks to reveal connections between artworks, disciplines, and perspectives. It supports artists, collectors, and institutions through relationships built on curiosity, high standards, and the sharing of knowledge.
Spanning Paris and Le Touquet, the gallery embodies an identity that is simultaneously international, open, and deeply connected to its local roots.
Its ambition is to transform art into a meeting ground where sensibility and thought, perceptual experience and knowledge, converge.
A realm where abstraction is not merely a formal language, but a way of exploring the world.
Note: The Gallery is a member of the PROFESSIONAL COMMITTEE OF ART GALLERIES.
The Gallery adheres to the Code of Ethics of art galleries. The gallery is also a member of the Association des Galeries de Lille et de sa Région.
