Charles BEZIE Supporting figures
Charles Bézie has been using lines and numbers for more than 45 years. At first, he wanted to try to “erase” geometry with a network of fine lines. Over the following years, the line became thicker, until it became a band, then a sign. Since 1995, Charles Bézie has focused his research on rhythms, obtained from numbers: “Gradations”, “Cadences”, “Ortholude”, “Fiborythm”… The series follow one another, but are not alike!
The Wagner Gallery is pleased to devote a solo exhibition to this great artist.
From 13 February to 14 March 2020.
