Convergences ∞ : between arts, sciences and mathematics

From 11 June to 25 July, Galerie Wagner presents the group exhibition Convergences ∞: Between Arts, Sciences and Mathematics, in direct resonance with the exhibition “Création : entre arts et mathématiques” on view at the Maison Poincaré, Paris’s mathematics museum, from 9 April to 25 July 2026. For this occasion, Galerie Wagner brings together a selection of artists for whom scientific rigour and artistic sensibility are not opposing forces, but mutually enriching ones.

Their works explore the shared territories of geometry, optics, physics and living matter: mathematical forms derived from geometric models, plays of light and volume rooted in the laws of geometry and algorithms, and installations weaving together optical science, astrophysics and the science of perception.

Having maintained long-standing relationships with several of these artists, the gallery has chosen to unite their research under this sign of infinity — a symbol of a boundless dialogue between artistic creation and scientific thought.

Opening: Thursday, 11 June 2026, 6:30 – 8:30 pm
