Vanessa Enríquez’s transdisciplinary practice explores drawing as a contemplative and investigative process for developing metaphysical awareness. She extends the line beyond traditional materials and surfaces into space and sound, creating works that range from monumental spatial drawings to intimate scores and performances.Using VHS magnetic tape as both a drawing tool and a medium for listening, Enríquez works between geometric precision and improvisation, repetition and chance. The line becomes both a physical and conceptual thread, connecting different dimensions, scales, and forms of perception. Her works explore the possibility of drawing as a way of tracing relationships within an interconnected reality, where structures found in geometry, nature, the body, and the cosmos can resonate with one another.
