The Institut Henri Poincaré and the Galerie Wagner are joining forces for the first time for a collective exhibition combining art and mathematics.

On the occasion of this exhibition, the artists of the Wagner Gallery will be exhibited in the library of the Institut Henri Poincaré, in the heart of the 5th arrondissement, thus creating a dialogue between mathematical and plastic infinities.

Contemporary art and mathematics are very specific fields. Sometimes frightening or misunderstood…
And for good reason, they are languages in their own right!

The artist, like the mathematician, speaks through signs and symbols. The “Meeting of the infinite” aspires to highlight the language of one through that of the other.
